Dance Crazy has been fortunate to aid in the teaching of several champion couples,
who have achieved recognition around the country. Recently, at a national competition
known as 'Champions of Tomorrow', we have had many couples reaching even the finals.
These are just a few of them:
Elliot Plate & Antonia Ryan
Elliot and Antonia have been dancing together for the last 9 months, 6 months competitively.
Elliot has come from a five year medallist background with no other dancing history
in his family. Antonia however has had four years of open competition experience
and her family is heavily into dancing
When Elliot started to dance with Antonia, their target was to represent Great Britain.
They achieved this by managing to get fourth place in the UK Closed Ballroom and
Latin Juvenile events. They were then invited onto the Latin team for the Juvenile
Modern/Latin Team Match in January.
Elliot will also be continuing his medal career, and will be taking his silver medal
soon.
David Church & Jasmine Chan
David and Jasmine, aged 12 and 11 respectively started dancing together in May 2003.
Their greatest achievements are getting 2nd place in the Welsh Border Counties Trophy.
They also got into 6th place in the Junior beginners event of Champions of Tomorrow.
Furthermore, they both danced in the medallist Blackpool 2003 competition, where
they both made it through to the solo and couples finals.
